The Rittenhouse Residence is one of Philadelphia's great historic private homes — nearly 7,000 square feet of tall windows, handsome fireplaces and period character. Eight bedrooms welcome up to 17 guests, including children, with three shared living rooms, two full kitchens, five full bathrooms and a powder room. With more than 170 years of history, Rittenhouse Residence combines the character and proportions of a historic private home with the space and comforts required for modern group stays.
Gather beneath the Grand Parlor's fourteen-foot ceilings, find a quieter hour in the library, or take your coffee to the private roof decks. Three shared living rooms give everyone their own rhythm; the principal suite has an additional private sitting room. Four stories, with roof access that makes the house live like five, offer space to be together and room to retreat. There is no elevator, and bedrooms are on the upper floors.

Two kings, six queens and a full-size bed sleep up to 17 adults. Bedroom 6 is our family bedroom: its queen and full-size bed suit two parents and one or two children, or three adults. Maximum capacity is 17 overnight guests, including children.
