Rittenhouse Square · Built 1854
TheRittenhouse Residence
An 8-bedroom Victorian mansion in the heart of Center City Philadelphia — the whole house, for your whole group.
Nearly 7,000 square feet across five floors, two blocks from Rittenhouse Square. Twenty-one guests under one historic roof, with the city's best dining, museums, and shopping at the doorstep.
The House
One of the last great Victorian townhouses on Pine Street — kept, not gutted.
Built in 1854 and lived in for the better part of two centuries, No. 1822 has been home to Drexel banking heirs and a meeting place for the city's suffrage movement, its parlors witness to both. We've preserved what made it remarkable — the fireplaces, the plasterwork, the light — and quietly added what a modern group needs. The result is a house with a documented past you can actually read, and rooms you'll actually want to gather in.
Accommodations
Eight bedrooms. Nobody drives home.
Five floors of private space so a group of twenty-one sleeps comfortably and still finds a quiet corner. A master suite with a four-poster and private bath; six queens and two kings across the upper floors; six full bathrooms with period fixtures.

“This house is remarkable. The photos don't do it justice. We had our family reunion here and everyone was in awe of the beautiful spaces, the history, and the perfect location.”
